Ph.D., BCBA-D, LBA

Dr. Synthia Felipe Castro is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst–Doctoral and Licensed Behavior Analyst dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based, and culturally responsive behavioral services.

Compassionate Care, Grounded in Science

Dr. Synthia Felipe Castro has extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, families, schools, and organizations. She develops individualized behavioral interventions designed to strengthen communication, adaptive functioning, social skills, and overall quality of life.

Born to Cuban immigrant parents and raised in the heart of Little Havana in Miami, Dr. Felipe Castro grew up in a close-knit community where family, culture, and service to others were deeply valued. She is fully bilingual in English and Spanish and is committed to helping families access high-quality behavioral services in the language in which they feel most comfortable.

She believes meaningful care should never follow a one-size-fits-all approach. By partnering closely with individuals and families, she develops practical, evidence-based recommendations that respect each person’s values, traditions, priorities, and goals.
Clinical Leadership, Education & Mentorship
With clinical, supervisory, academic, and research experience, Dr. Felipe Castro combines compassionate care with data-driven decision-making to develop practical and effective behavioral recommendations.

In addition to her clinical work, she serves as a university instructor, clinical supervisor, consultant, and mentor. She supports the development of future behavior analysts through teaching, supervision, research, professional training, and evidence-based practice.
